An alternate switch used to prevent ball hangups after exiting the left phurba to the right.

  1. Fast shots to the lower phurba ramp diverted to the right sometimes get stuck because the switch wireform hangs the ball up. One way to fix this is to get a replacement microswitch with a long wire actuator, and bend it so the activation occurs much later down the wireform ramp (as shown in the picture at left).
  2. Make sure the correct autofire plunger is installed. The manual calls out part A-2306-A. This is incorrect. For much more consistent autofiring, use an A-17767.
  3. If you are having problems with the Battlefield area, make sure the IDC connector on the opto board hasn't been damaged. Also make sure to tidy the kicker coil wires neatly with a zip tie to avoid wire chaffing as the kicker moves side to side.
