Thanks, Chris -- I'll have to look into this. I'm not a CSS expert but I would rather have everything "just work" than have to fix this stuff on a case-by-case basis. I'll try and fix whatever damage I introduced (and stop making it worse while I'm looking into this).

Funny that you mention your problem on Tommy, because I have seen this several different times on different Maverick machines.  You just jarred my memory.  --Jimpal (talk) 13:42, 12 February 2018 (CST)

That's awesome. I only see a few of these -- my collection isn't that large, and it doesn't change that much -- but I saw a reference to my exact problem somewhere else, and figured it should be here, too. What a goofy trough design. -- ts4z (talk) 13:49, 12 February 2018 (CST)

Hello Ts4z,

The "break" tags have sometimes been "in" sometimes "out". It's usually author preference to get the alignment they like.

The real alignment issue with pictures is that numbered lists and bullet lists don't align correctly against a left justified picture. I have no idea how to fix this, but would welcome your suggestion. Perhaps we can enlist Casey's help (the admin) to revise whatever needs revision.
