Sharkey's Shootout (specific page)

Placeholder

While using the established WhiteStar board set, Stern's second game, Sharkey's Shootout, makes three key changes to the CPU/Sound and I/O Driver boards.

  1. The CPU/Sound board uses a 62256 RAM vs the "normal" 6264 RAM. A small three pin jumper just below the RAM chip must be installed in the correct position (see labeling on board).
  2. The PAL at U213 is unique to Sharkey's Shootout. It has a gold dot on it.
  3. The I/O Driver board has several cuts and jumpers incorporated. See: Sharkey's Shootout Specific Driver Board
