EZL brought up a good point (and this bothered me a little bit when I edited the page). This page is US centric. I think there are two ways we can go about this.
- Create multiple versions of this page: USA & World, or North America, South America, Europe, Africa, etc. (This might require this page to become a Disambiguation page.)
- Keep everything on the existing page, and create new top level sections for each Country (or Geographic Area).
I decided to go with option #2 to start. I separated these into two separate commits in case you disagree with my 2nd revision.
- Added Canada and United States as 2nd level headings and bumped the States/Provinces to 3rd level headings.
- With an eye on usability improvements I removed the empty States headings.
My reasoning for the 2nd edit is that it is trivial for an editor to add a new State header, however it is frustrating to a user to click on a State only to find it hasn't been filled in yet.
