This is only on OEM P/S boards because they use a pancake connector for 3J2. Modern replacement P/S boards use a fully shrouded connector for 3J2, so it is not possible to rotate the plug. Not sure if 3P2 was wired this way from the factory or if someone re-pinned it later, followed the incorrect schematics, and later discovered that didn't work, so they rotated the plug. | ||

2.1 Hot Tip
2.1.1 Mistake in Wiring of 3P2 on P/S Board
The "Power Wiring" page in the schematic has an error. It shows the DC ground wires coming out of the lamp and solenoid rectifiers as wired to 3P2 pins 1 & 4 on the P/S Board. This is wrong. It should be wired to pins 3 & 6. In fact, later System 3 games show the correct wiring on their schematics (Lucky Seven and Disco Fever have been verified).
