Castle Lock releases more than one ball at a time
If your Castle Lock "disappearing post" mechanism is worn, allowing play (slop) in the steel rod that holds the balls in the lock mechanism, more than one ball may be released from the lock mechanism at a time. Original design calls for each ball to be released from the lock mechanism one at a time so that a single ball is auto-plunged during multi-ball, just like The Getaway: High Speed II. Balls may also "skip over" the lock mechanism. The solution is to either purchase a new bracket, or insert a 1/4 inch inside diameter "nyliner" into the "hogged out" top hole of the bracket.

Balls "skip over" lock mechanism (aka disappearing post)
Improper adjustment of the wireform height may also cause balls to skip over the lock mechanism. You can lower the wireform height by shortening the plastic post that supports it. You'll have to remove the screws from the right ramp just over the right sling, and perhaps the decorative "castle". Remove about 1/16 - 1/8" and retest. If you've removed too much material, compensate with a #6 or #8 washer.
