During the long production run, some of the later games were made with System 6 MPU Boards, there were Green Flipper ROMs and a matching Game ROM released, as opposed to the original System 4 Yellow Flipper ROMs. The updated ROMs can also be run on the System 4 MPU boards.

Note that some game adjustments were changed between yellow ROM code and green ROM code. A downloadable chart showing the different adjustments can be acquired from the manual PDF located at the IPDB. Reference page 61 of the PDF file.

Also, if running green ROM code, during solenoid test solenoid 18 pulses when solenoid 17 should and vice versa.
