IPDB.org page for Joust

Notable Features: Sound (Type 2) / Drop Targets: Two 3-banks each side for a total of Four / Double in-line Drop Targets: One per side for a total of Two

  • No Backbox or Backglass, the Boards are all in the Plinth of the game
  • Head-to-Head Pinball with players on opposite sides of the playfield, players control the flippers on their side only
  • Gates between sides lets a ball pass through to the other player, but player will try and control the balls keeping them on their side of the playfield for maximum scoring
  • It is possible to start a one player game, with the MPU controlling the opposing 'player'. But this is less enjoyable.
