I am a person who appreciates a good game of pinball. I own a RiverBoat gambler table and have just begun to take the next steps and have started to make some repairs. My first repair was to track down why after a year in storage my game came on but gave me the message " Adjust Failure" I research the error message and discovered my batteries had corroded. Fortunately, this ooze from the alkaline batteries was somewhat contained and did not damage the board. I was able to cut off the original battery holder and with my first soldering job relocate a new battery holder to an area that if this ever happens again it will not damage my boards. I have set my calendar to replace the batteries yearly. I have played pinball since I was a teenager. While others bowled at the alleys you could find me with a pocket full of quarters by the pinball games. I look forward to learning from pin wiki and keeping my Riverboat Gambler sailing. I also own a Midway Cocktail model Space Invaders machine.
