Scott Charles (seymour.shabow@gmail.com) has been collecting pinball machines since 1989, when he knew nothing about fixing or maintaining them. Thanks to rec.games.pinball he discovered that those large broken master pieces could be fixed and tuned to a high degree, recapturing the late 70s in his very own basement.

A teenage obsession with home computers starting with an Atari 800 sparked an interest in assembly language, which has come in handy since 2008 to modify pinball machine firmware. Thanks to this experience he is currently the software architect for the upcoming albeit delayed Classic Playfield Reproductions' Lost Vegas project http://www.classicplayfields.com/lostvegas.html and author of numerous custom test roms as well as most of the classic Stern Electronics' free play roms.

Always up for an assembly challenge just to "see if it can be done".
