4 Game Specific Issues

4.1 Replacement LED Displays Will not Light 7th (1 Million) Digit

At the time of this writing, it is unknown if this affects other 7 digit games in this same style cabinet (Centaur II and Eight Ball Deluxe LE) or not. Bally ran wires to pins that were not used with a standard 7 digit plasma display. The specific problem is where wires were placed at pin 11 or the displays. Certain brands, if not all brands, of LED displays have pins 11 and 12 tied together to make them universal among Bally and Stern games. Bally used pin 12 for the 7th digit strobe line, but Stern used pin 11. On Mr. & Mrs. Pacman, there are active lines running to pin 11 of the displays for unknown reasons. These active lines kludge the 7th digit strobe signal, and the 7th digit will never illuminate on some LED displays. To overcome the issue, simple remove the wires from pin 11 of the IDC display connector.
